boAt enters smart projector segment with CineHead F1 series
New Delhi, Aug 10 (TNT): Consumer technology brand boAt on Monday announced its entry into the smart projector segment with the launch of the CineHead F1 series, comprising the CineHead F1 and F1 Pro, as it expands into visual and big-screen home entertainment.
The projectors feature Official Google TV 5.0, 1080p Full HD native resolution with 4K support, Dolby Audio and intelligent auto-setup features.
The Made-in-India projectors are designed to offer screen sizes ranging from 40 to 120 inches, the company said in a release here.
Both models provide access to more than 10,000 apps through the Google Play Store, along with personalised recommendations, multiple user profiles, Kids Mode and built-in Google Assistant.
They also come with voice-enabled remotes featuring dedicated Netflix and YouTube hotkeys.
The CineHead F1 Pro offers 500 ANSI lumens brightness, a 10W speaker with Dolby Audio and 1080p Full HD native resolution with 4K support.
The CineHead F1 comes with 300 ANSI lumens brightness, a 6W speaker with Dolby Audio and a sealed, dust-proof optical engine with up to 30,000 hours of lamp life.
Both models feature auto focus, auto keystone correction and obstacle avoidance, along with an adjustable stand. Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, HDMI, USB and AUX, as well as HDMI ARC and eARC.
The projectors are powered by a MediaTek processor with 2GB RAM and 32GB ROM.
The CineHead F1 Pro is available at an introductory price of Rs 32,999 through boAt’s website, Amazon, Flipkart and select retail stores.
The CineHead F1 will be launched later this month, with its price and availability to be announced closer to the launch.
boAt CEO Gaurav Nayyar said the company’s entry into smart projectors was a step in its evolution from an audio-focused brand to a broader consumer technology and entertainment company.
