PM Modi Pays Tribute to Quit India Movement Participants
New Delhi, Aug 9 (TNT): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday paid tribute to all those who participated in the historic Quit India Movement, recalling their courage and determination in India’s freedom struggle.
In a post on X, Modi said the movement, inspired by the leadership of Mahatma Gandhi, infused fresh energy into the freedom struggle and reflected the people’s unwavering resolve to end colonial rule.
“Remembering all those who participated in the historic Quit India Movement. Their courage will always remain an inspiration for every Indian,” the Prime Minister said.
He said the clarion call of the Quit India Movement gave new momentum to the freedom struggle and demonstrated the determination of Indians to break free from colonial rule.
