Amaravati (Andhra Pradesh), Feb 16(TNT): Bill Gates, Chairman of the Gates Foundation, arrived at Gannavaram Airport here on Monday as part of his official visit to the state.
Upon his arrival at the airport, Bill Gates was welcomed by Minister for Education and IT Nara Lokesh, Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha, Agriculture Minister Kinjarapu Atchannaidu, and Health Minister Satya Kumar Yadav, along with senior officials.
Following the airport reception, Bill Gates and the ministerial delegation proceeded to the Andhra Pradesh State Secretariat in Amaravati for official engagements as part of his visit.
At the Secretariat’s First Block, Bill Gates was received by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, and several cabinet ministers.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister formally introduced the members of his cabinet to Bill Gates, marking the beginning of the scheduled discussions and engagements.
