IMMERSA to Bring Large-Scale Immersive Yoga and Sound Healing Experience in Hyd on Aug 16
Hyderabad, Aug 8 (TNT): Hyderabad on Saturday witnessed the official preview of IMMERSA, billed as the world’s largest immersive yoga and sound healing experience, ahead of the wellness event scheduled to be held on August 16.
Curated by celebrity yoga instructor and founder of Ankitam – The Wellness Studio, Grandmaster Ankit, IMMERSA combines guided yoga, breathwork, Yoga Nidra, sound healing and 360-degree immersive visuals in a multi-sensory format.
The experience seeks to blend traditional yogic practices with contemporary technology and provide participants an opportunity to step away from their daily routines and focus on physical and mental well-being.
The August 16 event is expected to bring together thousands of participants from across Hyderabad at a specially designed venue featuring large-scale visuals, ambient lighting and synchronised soundscapes.
The programme will take participants through a curated sequence of movement, meditation and sound healing and is open to wellness enthusiasts, fitness communities, corporate professionals, entrepreneurs, students, families and first-time practitioners.
Addressing the media, Grandmaster Ankit said IMMERSA was an attempt to reimagine wellness for the modern generation while retaining the authenticity of traditional yogic practices.
He said the combination of yoga, breathwork, Yoga Nidra, sound healing and immersive visuals was intended to create a restorative and accessible experience for people irrespective of their age or fitness level.
Tollywood actress Faria Abdullah, who is supporting the initiative, said wellness had become essential amid increasing work pressures and digital distractions. She said initiatives such as IMMERSA could make holistic wellness and self-care more accessible.
The organisers also announced the partners associated with the event. Nemali is the Event Partner, while District, Socio and Communitie Hyd are the Ticketing Partners. The organisers said registrations for the ticketed event were open and expected participation from wellness enthusiasts, fitness communities, professionals and families from Hyderabad and beyond.
The August 8 preview marked the beginning of the countdown to the main event on August 16, which is aimed at bringing together yoga, mindfulness, sound healing and immersive technology on a large scale.
