Telangana Rising-2026 Global Summit in December to Focus on Attracting Investments: CS Sanjay Jaju

Hyderabad, Aug. 5 (TNT): Telangana Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju on Wednesday directed government departments to ensure extensive preparations and close coordination for the successful conduct of the Telangana Rising-2026 Global Summit, scheduled to be held in December.

Chairing a review meeting at the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Telangana State Secretariat, the Chief Secretary said all departments should prepare coordinated action plans to make the summit a major platform for attracting large-scale investments into the state.

He said cooperation from national and international organisations would play a key role in achieving the Telangana Rising-2047 vision and strengthening the state’s economic growth.

The summit, he added, would serve as an important platform for boosting Telangana’s Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP).

Sanjay Jaju directed officials to work together to ensure the success of the event and highlighted the government’s objective of positioning Telangana as a leading state in sectors including investments, industrial growth, infrastructure, skill development, innovation, employment generation and welfare.

Officials suggested utilising the Young India Skill University complex at Bharat Future City, currently under construction, as the venue for the summit.

Departments concerned were instructed to ensure timely completion of infrastructure facilities, including roads, electricity and drinking water supply.

The meeting also discussed strategies to attract investments, accelerate industrial development, expand skill development opportunities for youth, generate employment and improve digital service delivery.

The meeting was attended by Chief Minister’s Advisor and Ex-officio Special Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao, TGIIC MD Shashanka, Invest Telangana CEO Ajith Reddy, Industries Department Special Secretary Krishna Aditya, Director Nikhil Chakravarthy, IT Department Joint Secretary Anudeep Durishetty, and other senior officials.
