Highlighting his commitment to strengthening the party’s grassroots base, Pawan Kalyan donated ₹2 crore towards the membership initiative and enrolled himself as the first active member.
Emphasizing the party’s expanding support base, Pawan Kalyan noted that the party began with just 150 members and during the first phase of active membership enrollment in 2021, around 90,000 members were registered.
The number rose to 6 lakh ahead of the elections and has now reached 12.98 lakh memberships after the polls, he said.
He stated that people from diverse backgrounds including small traders, daily wage workers, and educated youth have actively participated in the membership drive, reflecting the party’s growing acceptance among various sections of society.
To encourage ideological commitment and structured participation, the party introduced three new categories of members to recognise different forms of participation within the party structure.
The event was attended by Political Affairs Committee Chairman Nadendla Manohar, Political Secretary to the Party President Pidugu Hariprasad, General Secretary Ram Talluri, and Programme Committee Chairman Kalyanam Siva Srinivas, along with top membership mobilizers from previous drives.
